Content

This is a continuation of the work covered in Chinese 1A and will consolidate and build on the communication skills acquired in the first trimester. Emphasis will continue to be placed on correct pronunciation and moving towards fluent speech. Students will be introduced to more complex grammatical constructions. The unit focuses on mastery the of spoken and written Chinese required to function at a basic level of communication in a range of contexts. Cultural topics will be discussed in conjunction with the language material.
