Overview

In the context of unprecedented global health issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change, those entering the health workforce today must be equipped with the strategies and techniques needed to help solve these challenges, prevent diseases and promote conditions that optimise population health. Students will be able to study this major in conjunction with a range of complimentary majors, including health promotion, disability and inclusion, health and sustainability, environmental health, psychology for allied health and politics, thus ensuring they are well-placed to respond to the diversity of health challenges and increasing job growth in this sector both in Australia and internationally.
