Content

In this unit, students will be introduced to the various technologies critical to the human resource (HR) and recruitment functions in organisations. For example, HR relies heavily on HR analytics, capability assessment and development tools, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in recruitment and selection, applicant tracking systems, monitoring and performance evaluation. Students will have the opportunity to explore and understand the value proposition of these technologies in the context of broader organisational operations, with a consideration of the ethical and legal positioning of the technologies to avoid automating biases. As a significant growth area in HR, students will have a significant advantage over competitors as they enter the job market.
