By the end of the unit, you will have acquired advanced research strategies, critical writing techniques and developed a research story that can stand alone or for further development. The Unit begins by examining the importance and contribution that Indigenous-led research can have on interpreting cultural landscapes, re-framing history and presenting writing as Story. When researching a topic of interest you may use oral histories, photographs, newspaper clippings, reports, intangible heritage and published materials that will contribute to enriching your understanding of the topic.
