Through reading and analysis, students will develop an understanding of the genre and where it sits in the present media and publishing landscapes. In seminars, writing exercises and workshops will focus on elements of craft such as persona, structure and research, and key concepts such as memory and ethics. Students will be encouraged to take risks and experiment as they represent the real events in imaginative and compelling ways.
