Content
This unit will further develop the Chinese four-macro skills i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing achieved in AIC282. On completion of the unit, students should be able, with the assistance of dictionaries, to use Chinese language to understand a range of social and cultural issues and express their own opinions about China and the world in both oral and written forms.

ULO1 | Understand a range of social and cultural issues in both oral and written forms, using 1600 words and expressions (1000 Chinese characters) with the assistance of dictionaries; and |
ULO2 | Express their own opinions about China and the world in both oral and written forms (making a 2-minutes role-play or a 1-minute speech, and writing a 200-characters essay), using 1300 words and expressions (1000 Chinese characters) and 300 major grammatical constructions with the assistance of dictionaries |
