Why meditate?

Through regular practice, we train our mind not to react to strong negative emotions or thoughts, such as fear, anxiety or worries. We learn to stay calm and focused at all times. As a result, the mind becomes calmer and less confused. Just as exercising regularly makes us fitter and feel better, regular meditation can create a kind of ‘mental fitness’ and improve our wellbeing.
