Open access refers to scholarly materials that are freely available to anyone online. Open access can include materials such as journal articles, conference papers and books. This differs from Library’s database content which is governed by strict licenses and therefore not freely available to everyone.

Data refers to the original facts and figures which can be used to inform work practices. It could include survey results, research data and financial data. A useful place to find Australian data is from the Australia Bureau of Statistics.
