Art Gallery Building fa Melbourne Burwood Campus
This exhibition displays creative responses to the Deakin University Art Collection by arts practitioners from the School of Communication and Creative Arts at Deakin University. The exhibition includes the work of staff from visual arts, animation, film graphic design, photography, dance and literary studies as well as some postgraduate candidates.

On all campuses
In week four of Trimester 2 (31st July to 2th August) across all campuses, there will be a week of activities to highlight all the ways you can build your 7 pillars of wellbeing which make up your Essence. By enhancing your Essence, you will improve your study success and make the most of your student life at Deakin University. During the week, there will be a number of activities including formal presentations, and an expo day.

The event is being held to celebrate National Tree Day to assist with biodiversity conservation and contribute to offsetting some of Deakin’s greenhouse gas emissions as part of the implementation of the Sustainability Strategy. All staff and students are welcome to attend and participate in the plantings and those who do will receive a free BBQ lunch!

Deakin University is proud to host the Eid Festival in partnership with the Australian Intercultural Society to celebrate the end of Ramadan. The Eid Festival is a joyous celebration for Muslims and the broader community. It provides an opportunity for the public to gain a greater understanding of Islam and embrace the many traditions and religions that make up our diverse culture. Free festival activities will include a variety of traditional entertainers, music, dancing, art and food.
