Deakin University Contemporary Small Sculpture Award

Deakin University Art Gallery (Melbourne Burwood Campus)

In its fifth year, this annual acquisitive award and exhibition is organised by the Art Collection and Galleries Unit at Deakin University. One outstanding entry is awarded $10,000 and becomes part of the Deakin Univesrity Art Collection.

Whitehorse Christmas Toy Appeal

Deakin is proudly encouraging the spirit of giving this festive season by supporting the annual Whitehorse Christmas Toy Appeal. New and unwrapped toys or gifts can be placed under the Deakin Community Christmas Tree in the Burwood Campus Library Foyer (Building V), prior to 5 pm Friday 13 December. Donations will be collected by the Eastern Emergency Relief Network and distributed through more than 140 welfare organisations to families in the City of Whitehorse and adjacent municipalities.
