D Festival is a celebration of Deakin's Creative Arts students. This exciting event is spread over the course of 2 weeks beginning on Thursday October 18. Third year Bachelor of Creative Arts students who are participating in the major collaborative project have produced the work on display. This event is a great opportunity for the students to display and share their energetic and experimental work with the public and is a spectacle not to be missed. Deakin University Library invites early childhood and primary educators,academics, students and community members to a children’s literacy forum. Four literacy advocates, including renowned author Tony Wilson and expert literacy educator Dr. Louise Paatsch, and librarians Maryanne Hyde and Christine Oughtred, will present their views on the development of language skills and understanding through shared reading.
