'Having a Say' is an annual conference which aims to empower people with a disability by providing them the opportunity to ‘have a say’ about issues that affect their lives. Every year the event attracts a growing number of people with disabilities, carers, family members and other interested people from across Victoria, Australia and New Zealand.

Deakin welcomes you to enjoy the Swing Pop Boom event series celebrating the beauty, diversity and creativity of our local Whitehorse community with your friends, family and neighbours. Proudly sponsored by Deakin this event features live performances, food vendors, face painting, a jumping castle, a special screening of short films by Deakin students, and the Australian classic feature film Red Dog.
