This unit will provide a capstone experience for students doing an Economics major. It will focus on the integration of knowledge from across the economics major and the consolidation of key skills. It will also provide the opportunity for students to develop their professional identity and enhance the transition of students to the workplace. The emphasis will be on skills economists use in the workplace, such as cost-benefit analysis and policy analysis. These skills cut-across both the government and private sector and are assessed in the unit through team-based research reports.
