Through practical workshops, students will develop the essential skills required for acting and performance at a foundation level with specific focus on presence, impulse, energy and imagination.

Through the practical application and analysis of two core actor-training methods, particular focus will be placed on questions of the boundaries between self and character, truth and fiction, text and subtext, as well as outside-in versus inside-out methods of constructing a role. Students will explore techniques to prepare a solo and group performance.
