Content

This unit examines the ways in which screen stories are told, to enable you to effectively describe and communicate audio-visual techniques, form and styles. This is an important part of being able to contribute to and lead the making of films and television (live action and animation) or being able to engage in detailed discussion and analysis of screen-based works. Film and television practitioners and theorists need to be aware of a history of cinematic storytelling and to be able to talk and write coherently and in depth about stories on screen.
